Until now, our sights were set on the stars far beyond Kerbol's reach, on the backs of your R&D department and World Firsts. But, one day, while looking at our pictures from the Kerman Telescope , something blue in the sky moved. Far beyond Jool, for that matter. While very slow, we looked into it, sending some missions to enhance the telescope. And we found entirely new worlds, from gas giants of wonder to desolate rocks. So now, we have our sights set on the worlds not beyond Kerbol, but beyond Jool. But, we don't quite have the funds to explore-explore them. So, in a partnership, we'd like to have you explore these new worlds. Mods allowed include: Atomic Age Restock NFT suite. Mods NOT allowed: FFT (unless I say you can) MechJeb2/MechJeb Hyperedit Points work like this ———— 15 points for completing main objectives. 5 points for completing each side task. ———— Mission Set 1: Initial Exploration Mission 1: Sarkin Surveyor (Easy) Reveal hidden contents Your first mission is to explore the new giant planet, Sarkin, and it’s moons. You must: Orbit Sarkin, and fly-by Moach and Tyrant. (Needed) Moach seems to be quite the odd world, and so a probe lander has been suggested. (Optional) And the probe lander must have an atmosphere analysis if you use a probe lander. Exploring other moons is optional. —— So far @FTLparachute (25 points) has completed this challenge! Mission 2: Newer Horizons (Easy) Reveal hidden contents Fly-by Plad and its binary companion, Chau. (Needed) Extra points if: you flyby Jool, and extra extra if a probe is dropped off at Jool or Plad. —— So far, @FTLparachute (20 points) has completed this challenge! Mission 3: Hamis Explorer (Easy) Reveal hidden contents Flyby Hamis.(Needed) Extra points if: you flyby Jool, or Haki. Extra points if you: land on Hamis or Haki. (Replace flyby Haki if land at Haki) —— So far, @FTLparachute(30 points) has completed this challenge! Mission 4: Edge of Kerbol (Intermediate) Reveal hidden contents Fly-by or orbit, Elross and its two moons.(Needed) Extra points if you: Flyby Jool or land on Elross or its moons. —— So far, @FTLparachute (35 points) has completed this challenge! Mission Set 2: Voyage into the Unknown Mission 5: The Dead World(Intermediate) Reveal hidden contents YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED THE SARKIN SURVEYOR CHALLENGE TO COMPLETE THE MISSION Land on Moach with a rover AND a plane. (Needed) ‘The plane MUST have a Science Jr. and a Gravity Scanner. The plane MUST fly to Moach’s Rusty Red Shores. The rover MUST have a scanning arm and a Double-C Seismic Accelerometer , or if no Breaking ground, a Drill-O-Matic Junior' Mining Excavator and small ore tank. (If both, +5 points. Does not matter if ore is on plane.) —— So far, @FTLparachute(20 points) has completed this challenge! Mission 6: Trekking through the Stars. (Intermediate) Reveal hidden contents Fly-by Dakota. You MUST have a Science Jr. 9001. Extra points if you: Have other science experiments. Fly-by Jool. Land/Orbit Dakota. Expand mfw i finish a moach mission and only complete one of the objectives also, do the rover and the plane have to land as one craft, or can they be separately landed?
