Daanielmun
This is a modification of Real Solar System for KSP 1.8.1, swaping Earth and Mars making the launch site on Mars. Currently there's 6 launch sites: Valles Marineris, Aurorae Chaos, Chryse Planitia, Olympus Mons, Hellas Basin and Utopia Basin. Contract system of RP-0 is all changed to deal with this modification. As you start, sounding rocket contracts give you more money to accelerate the progress to go to orbit, lunar exploration contracts are now Phobos and Deimos exploration contracts, there are new Ceres and Vesta crewed exploration contracts and some more things. This is for people that are seeking new things to do in the game, launching from Mars is relatively easy, but landing back on it is a bit trickyer and in a lot of cases requires more then just parachutes. Note that i'm doing this solo and basicaly just for fun, so maybe there's a few things wrong in the mod pack that i didn't noticed yet. Instalation is pretty easy, instructions are in the doc in the zip file. Human exploration contracts are now divided in Human Exploration of Inner Solar System, Human Exploration of Outer Solar System and Human Exploration of Asteroids Edited Sunday at 08:25 PM by Daanielmun

I've been playing RSS with Realism Overhaul for a long time now and wanted some challenge, so i decided on my own to see what i could do to the files of the mods. With the method i used to change Earth with Mars, i could even swap Earth with a moon of Jupiter lol RSS is fun, is a step up from the base game, you have to relearn a lot of things Edited Thursday at 06:04 PM by Daanielmun

Kevin_kerman
oh, it takes a ton of ∆V to get there but they are absolutely worth it, some are comparable with RSS though
