RyanBrian Posted yesterday at 03:08 AM Share Posted yesterday at 03:08 AM Longtime lurker, one-time poster, here: I'm a huge KSP fan (though my meager 270+ hrs playtime doesn't stack up to many of you legends here..), software dev, and general astronomy/physics enthusiast. I continued the work hinted at in that ancient post over the years, and, at a point, decided to use some of what I was working on for educational purposes, contributing a very amateur YouTube video about the Kepler Problem to 3Blue1Brown's 2021 Summer of Math Exposition (I didn't win ): I never quite got around to finishing up the series - intended to detail the basics of the programmatic implementation seen in some of the clips; however, I did continue developing that work into a game focused solely on orbital mechanics! Would love to share more about it, but am cognizant of forum rules and self-promotion Either way, I miss talking about KSP, rocketry, orbital mechanics, etc. and hope to get involved in this community. Linkageless
Actually, Science & Spaceflight might be the best fit of course. Your choice, you'll soon be shuffled about by a mod if they think it's off topic
