Gradysadome
I have a space probe with connection thats in a planet and it cant deploy its solar panels, it can deploy other deployable parts (radiatios, communotrons) but not the solar panels? why? Martian Emigrant
Hi. Hard to tell without a picture. It could be a few things. Are the panels in a fairing? Did the probe run out of power before you deployed them? I have had panels destroyed in atmosphere or because of fairing deployment and they just aren't there anymore. Linkageless
Open up the part action window for one of those panels (right click) and look for the "Status:" line. As suggested, if it's broken, it's either been broken by aero forces or impacted something (I've also had a fairing deploy do that as it was clipping it even when folded). That is fixable if you're ok with a bit of .sfs file search and replace. The alternative is to get an Engineer there with a repair kit, which seems unlikely. If it's something else, show us a screenshot.
Iapetus7342
Check if the panels are broken in any way. If they are, get an engineer to the satellite with an EVA Repair Kit and repair them. If all else fails, edit the vessel's .sfs file or remove any Kopernicus Multi Star Logic files.
Gradysadome
the think is, the solar panels were undeployed the whole trip down, and reentry wasnt too rough. i'll try to get a picture of it later today
