AlamoVampire
Ok stupid question. I was doing a mission earlier where I wanted to reach a different biome on kerbin for a science run. While i was going into orbit to reach the biome ive done all the eva in space science i can do for now. So eva in orbit was not required. In the VAB i stripped the EVA packs out of the inventories. To my shock at launch when i checked to see something there they were. Is it even possible to NOT have the EVA RCS MMUs with you if have no need for them? 055601302025
Manfred_Kerman
I think you need to press delete when you hold the EVA packs.
Duke MelTdoWn
I found that using "Revert to launch" or "Revert to VAB" may mess up the inventory of Kerbonauts and reset it to default parachute + EVA pack.
Johnny Wishbone
Load your save game. Press ESC to bring up the pause menu and select Settings. On the settings window, select Difficulty Options at the top. This opens up the difficulty settings window that you had when you started your save file. On the Basic Settings page there is an option called "Persist Kerbal Inventory Loadout". Enable this option and save the settings. Whatever inventory you set up for your Kerbals as well as any capsules, rovers, storage boxes, etc will persist through all launches, reverts, etc. So if you take the RCS pack off of Jeb (for example), any time you add Jeb to the flight roster for any mission, he will not have the RCS pack by default.
