Anybody tested this mod with JNSQ ?. Would love to have that KSC in my game u did some great work!!

I'll be trying it - main issue I foresee is that I'd need to delete all the other example bases in KerbinSide because none of them will work with JNSQ's different terrain (maybe they'd sorta work but you'd have bases in the middle of the ocean and stuff half underground)

EDIT: After some testing, I'm encountering an issue where KSP hangs on loading audio files when KerbinSide Remastered is installed (but its examples folder is deleted). If KSR is removed, some parts of the KSC don't render because they're missing.

@SpaceOtter if you have time, could you provide a list of all statics from KSR that you used, so I can try and cut everything else out of KSR and see if that works?

Yeah you'll need to do that. Also some of the statics from this might be slightly underground due to the bumpy ground around the KSC. This could be solved by adding a mapdecal to flatten the ground.

Hmmm... I think the problem could be solved by going into the KerbinSideRemastered/Statics/Sounds folder. If this doesn't work, this might be something you should bring up on the Kerbinside thread.

I tried deleting it - it didn't help. I'll go over to the kerbinside thread.

Hi @space_otter! Its a really Nice KSC Mod that I loved

But one Problem, I have installed Parallax Continued but there are some trees still sticking out of some structures of the mod. Could you please fix this problem with this solution (if it does fix and is compatible to do so like Parallax 2.0)? Thanks!

Unfortunately my computer is not compatible with parallax 2, so I can't test this out. If you could try it out in your game and see if it works, then I could try make the same mapdecal and add it to the release.

But I have Parallax Continued, not Parallax 2.0 with me

It doesn't matter... The parallax scatters are not compatible with mac. That means that I can't test anything out and see if it actually works.

This is actually an easy fix. You just need some minor knowledge of both Kerbal Konstructs, MapDecals, and how they handle terrain scatters.

https://imgur.com/gallery/how-to-use-mapdecal-kerbal-konstructs-uC2g0rm

  1.  Launch a vessel, preferably nearby. Just something for you to get into the FlightScene
  2. Hit "Ctrl" and "K", this will open the Kerbal Konstructs editor
  3. Select "Edit MapDecals" and then "Spawn New MapDecal". Give it a name, and then you can move it using the move tool to where the trees are
  4. Increase the radius to encompass the area you want to remove the trees and make sure "UseAbsolut" is off. You can also hit "Snap Surface" to keep it level with the ground
  5. Choose "Remove the scatter objects", and then set the HeightMap to "height_KSC"
  6. Choose the group you want the MapDecal to go in, and then hit Apply & Save. The trees should now be gone!

You can see in the picture an example of what it should look like. I used 11 different MapDecals to customize VansKsc to min-max the trees, just like in KSP2:D
