ergh that old thing? :) it was a rush job, but yeah it could be worked.. it was for an older mechjeb but it should still work, probably will need the PART {} wrapper for the part.cfg but other than that. …

And old R2Djeb.. I always planned on finishing that little guy, so far my attempts to undock the full version and place him on the surface have not worked well, so it seems to deploy old good R2 it's going to be the drop method :)

Did you ever get close to finishing the IQ-9 Analyzer head for MechJeb 2?

A nice thing about original MechJeb was there were so many modules to choose from, including your R2-D2 unit. The new version, while many features are greatly improved, only comes in the plain old gray box with a couple lights. It would be nice to have a choice again.

Cool :D

One request though, would that be possible to include the fuel tanks separately as well, as with the old release. Using it as the eagle is one thing, but I love the looks of those fuel tank units, and would use them on all kinds of other crafts, bit hard to do though if they are bundled with the strut.

That eagle is reaaaally hard to fly :/, when I engage the ASAS it just wiggles around and I have almost crash-landed ten billion times, soooo I cant pilot it but the only actual problem is the ASAS

You may need to brush up on your piloting skills then.

no kidding..... time to get weaned off of mechjeb for sure......

luckily, Jeb's crash suit is holding out ok......

but, when will we get duct tape as a mod so that we 'fix' parts, even if they don't need fixed...???????????

You should only be using the ASAS really for takeoff to keep the VTOL steady, you can switch to manual flight after a good 500m.

first person who can land the eagle on the new space centre roof (the large one with the helipads) gets a beta test of the next project

nice work! well technically gristle wins, but Silvester did a neater job of it, so I guess you both get a copy of the next toy to play with. Not even mentioning what it is yet, it's a surprise. Testing should begin within a week, it is a very large ... thing.

Admitting I have not read all 120 pages I have a question (and hope this is not a duplicate), does anyone have a problem with the WT 51's main engine separating when launched? Every time I launch it sounds like a separation and the engine ends up on the tarmac.

Don't mean to be pushy but has anyone had this problem?
