Can anyone please explain what's going wrong? (Mods -> snack problems but no 'Snacks!' or 'USI Life Support' are installed?!)

However, by about Minmus my crews turn into tourists because they've run out of 'snacks'.

But the two mods that I'm aware of that add such a feature ('Snacks!' and 'USI Life Support') are NOT INSTALLED, and never have been.

I can't work out where this came from and I've slept quite a few nights since I updated my mod list so I can't just 'roll back' my last installed mod(s).

 

Does anyone know how to turn this snacking feature off please, or if not what is the mod that's secretly added such a feature?

Never mind, I found a reference to "snacks" in your mod list. It is almost certainly Progressive Colonization System which is adding its own snacks feature (I wouldn't say "secretly", it does have "life support system" right there in the description). I can't see an easy way to turn it off in the mod config options, so you may have to uninstall it to avoid this problem.

THANK YOU. 

I chose this mod because there are comments that it's much better for building planetary launchpads and more user friendly than the mod 'Planetary Launchpads', but I didn't know it included 'snacks'.

I'm going to try uninstalling it - I just hope it doesn't break my already in progress mission and reverts the Kerbals back to their normal status... otherwise I'll have to try manually hacking the persistent.sfs file. Eek.
