Is there any way I can install the new version of the mod in version 0.19.1?

Yes. I should think about this, sorry. Edit "Part.cfg" file and remove "PART {" at the beginning of the file and trailing "}". Copy parts and plugin to the "legacy" KSP_OS/Parts and KSP_OS/Plugins folders.

Some images again.

This cockpit brings a whole new level to KSP.

<snip>

Very nice looking plane. I can identify most of the parts on it except for the strutted lights and the ladder. What Mods are those from?

That's depressing, this plugin is genius and has so much potential to become a staple part of all cockpits but for a few lines of code. I can't find source or a license anywhere either so no chance of fixing it even for myself ;.; ;.; ;.; ;.; ;.;

The plugin does come with source code in the download itself.

Ok now I face a question, if one was to start producing parts using this plugin, should they post their development here until they had moved away from SFRs specific build to a more task specific plugin, or should they start a new thread and avoid constantly bumping an old one? (like I am doing right now)

Assuming one was working on something of course...

Sadly, although I can see how to make IVA work just fine the original source does not compile into a working .dll. I'm sure it's not far out but I can't make it spawn Kerbals. Using the original .dll I have made a few cockpits, here's my progress on that front but it's not really worth persevering until I have a relatively bug free plugin to work with so the project is boxed.

Javascript is disabled. View full album

Here i'll add the gallery I made for that thread here too - the thread I started has plenty views and 0 replies, either A) I failed to communicate my plight or B) I am not alone in my inability to get it to play ball. (I suppose there is a third option and 272 people have had a really good laugh at my expense but I'm gonna choose B cos like, it feels nicer that way)

Whilst I was at it I was also watching Alskari and No Mr Bond so at least one of these pods has an "internal" spawn point (might not have a pic of that one, I made a vid for NMB tho...).

Give me a working .cs file and I will finish the 5 command pods/decks that I have in rough.

Please....?

its looking good. some parts that have textures that are more stocklike or better match other packs would be nice also unless u gonna make parts besides command cap

Yeah I completely agree, some of this is not even uv mapped and those that have textures are just scribbles with a graphics tablet and the odd block of colour. I was just messing about really and they are certainly nothing I would release. As I said, although I can utilize the original .dll to make a playable command pod, that .dll is too out of date/buggy to warrant more time on it. The IVA scene is off and there is some odd other odd behavior. I'm guessing that two things have happened, first the names used to refer to cameras has changed in one version from there to here, and second that there are more overides required now than then. Trouble is that I can't do amateur programming without something to break/fix/break/fix - I cannot learn without retracing my own edits on a working source file :mad:

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
