Dassault Rafale

Rafale by Dassaut Aviation

Hello everyone !

Here is my latest creation, a (kind-of) replica of the french fighter Rafale, by Dassault Aviation.

It's a twin-engine delta wing spacecraft, designed for medium to long range missions.

It's also the first version, so it may change in the future !

It's a super-stable aircraft once you have SAS enabled, but it requires a bit of practice to fly (it cans over-react easily if you are not careful while inputing commands).

Specs.

- 910 fuel units, allowing long range missions.

- Maximum speed of 1200+ m/s at 18.000 meters (Warning : the Rafale will start to heat up at this speed in the atmosphere).

- Maximum control and agility under 8.000 meters.

- Very short take-off distance.

User's manual.

Step 1. Disable SAS.

Step 2. Enable smooth control.

Step 3. Full throttle, pitch up.

Step 4. As soon as it starts to take off, stop pitching up, and engage SAS.

Step 5. Fly it gently, disable SAS to maneuver and as soon as you have a pitch/direction, engage SAS, it can fly for hours without any input commands.

Do not hesitate to leave any feedback, comment, etc.. And thank you for reading !

Thank you all ! I'll do some measurements and add the specs.

I'm also working on a long-range / bomber version !

The French Eurofighter Typhoon, I certainly like it excellent work!

Haha, thank you, but actually the Rafale and the Typhoon are two different aircrafts !

The Typhoon is made by Eurofighter, a consortium of many companies from UK, Germany, Spain and Italy, meanwhile the Rafale is made by a french company : Dassault Aviation. ;)

I like, but to replace that cone in front of the engines, probably get an intake for better speed/take off

Thanks ! There are actually two air intakes in front of the fuel tanks on the side, if that's what you mean. I could replace them with hight-altitude ram air intakes, but the normal ones were looking closer to the original aircraft.

UPDATE : Added a screenshot, specs., download link and user's manual !
