Nose cone is actually there, it's an avionics package too, so it's stored in the Control tab.

This is ugly:

Sorry I was not clear. There is nothing in this shape to cap it off. A simple flat white cap would even be fine, just anything. Although an engine would be nicer.

There are two MK2->1.25m adapters that you can use for smooth transitions to engines or tail parts. :)

A taped adapter to jet engine size would be amazing.

It's already there.

The eighteenth page in less than 24 hours .... wow!

.

I guess "the incident" has forced the release of this mod somewhat prematurely. (I'm not complaining about that!).

.

The designs are absolutely stunning and fitting for KSP. The B9 pack was good, the B9 R2 is even better.

Thank you for sharing it with us (design illiterates).

It actually delayed the release and gave me time to make all MK2 stuff including the second IVA. So, yeah, you can thank the downtime for that stuff. :D

Whoops, no it's not.

Ah. Glad I pointed it out, then! Luckily it's an easy fix (On our end, anyway), as the Spaceport still has R1. Just downloaded that, yanked out the part file, voila.

Edit: Also, as I'm looking through this stuff and getting used to it, I've noticed a couple more things. The fuel tanks are under Structural, not Propulsion. If that's intentional, that's fine, but how do I change it? I'd prefer to keep all tanks together. And there's a great big MK4 adapter that references cargo holds, but I can't find anything else labeled MK4, and nothing else seems to be that big. Is this something designed for use with KW rocketry, or am I missing something?

Gotta say these are absolutely my favorite pack of aerodynamic parts. KSP can only take so many parts loaded at once so I've replaced the stock airplane parts with yours as IMO they make awesome looking planes. Squad would be crazy not to hire you for these professional grade parts. Hopefully we'll be able to have them as stock parts sometime!

All fuselages are in structural tab and in a particular order for convenience, as I don't think it's good that you need to travel through multiple tabs and pages to get to a fuel tank after placing e.g. crew tank. Only parts that explicitly belong to other tabs, like engines, were placed in other tabs. When revamped part sorting system with tags or custom categories will arrive, I will come up with a better solution, but for now the current setup is the most convenient from my point of view.

You can change the place with "category" parameter in part.cfg. Write "catergory = propulsion", that should work.

Oh, Bac9, Could you make some probe-style versions of the cockpits? I have the feeling that if (iff) you could put a sort of cylon-like red sweeping light where the windows were, the pods would look cool, and fit with the rest of the pack. Again, just my 2-cents. I have about a quarter's worth, so I use it when I can.

Is it possible to get an extended version of the s2 crew module? Essentially what I mean is something like 3 or 4 of the existing unit, but fused as one? would help keep part cout low, and would use less struts. Also, I'm loving the 3.5m fuselages, but I'm trying to come up with a crew pod that fits in the cargo bay, with an extendable docking tube/clamp. Anyone got suggestions?

Its really an eye-catcher and one of the best part-packs for ksp :D

But i found some small error in it, the mk2 parts are not alligned with the basic mk2 parts (the connection point is a little bit to low)

This mod is the only reason I was reading the KSP forums at all. It's ludicrously good looking, probably the best bit of design ever seen in any mod for any game ever, so... thanks bac9!

what are you working on next?

I find it shocking that nobody else has recognised the Arwing...

Youngings with their iPhones and PS3s... Back in my day we only had MarioKart and StarFox!

No but really, I still have StarFox 64 running on an emulator, which I play regularly.
