Ok its been a while and I have progress to share.

First I'll start with one last IVA of the cockpit before I add the base:

Before the base can be completed however, there is one crucial component missing. . . . . The chair!!!! O_o

Here are some in progress shots of the chair's construction:

And the chair installed into the base, which in turn has been installed into the bottom go the capsule:

The last component to add is the heat shield. I searched far and wide for a suitable piece for this but had to settle on a paper plate cut to shape. I guess it doesn't look that bad, the shape is off though:

Ok so at this point the project is basically done. When I get a chance I'm going to take a couple high-res shots in nice light to show the project in all its 'glory' (I use that word loosely). Be sure to check back for the finished product. As always thanks for viewing.
