Brotoro: I´ve picked same spot for landing as you did for your Laythe mission, it was nice and flat, now it is not really flat a lot of sand dunes...

Designed this 46.51 ton Fuel truck. Its about 8 tons to heavy for Duna and probably more then twice for Laythe but I will refuel in LKO with a smaller SSTO that will bring plenty off fuel to top all the tanks up so I can get it to Laythe. Its 3 tons more then I lifted before so I will run out of jet fuel before I run out of intake air, thats the big problem so thats why refueling will be needed. Also added JATO sens I cant realy rotate more then 6-7 degrees (plus it looks awesome in a video) with an over sized payload unlike the 10 degrees or so required to take off and it was close enough with 43 tons so 46 tons is even harder. But JATO seems to work if timed right after that is climbs fine.

The fuel tanker has RCS to and 4 landing legs that will be useful if you get a flat. A bit of a problem with heavy crafts, inflating might not always be possible with out tires braking again. So that solves that problem. Also plenty of power to power modules with there own wheels so good for moving a base around. It can be remote controlled but also take two kerbals. Good if you get a flat. I use a similar truck on Duna but unfortunately I forgot the RCS on that one and no legs but gravity is lower there so that helps. So its a utility truck.

Testing out the new wheels. Seems a lot stronger. Also redesigned the cabin because it tends to break off during hard bumps. Log wont show it but thats the way it is. This seems a lot more stable.

Test docking with the small fuel truck to make sure it is lined up.

Second prototype have two smaller RCS tanks. I like that on the most.

Yea now my Duna base feels like a waste of time. All modules use the old wheels so I can hull them around even the huller truck. The new once might not seem that much better but the suspension is MUCH better for heavy crafts and I can drive a 40T craft more stable then an old 4 ton craft.

EDIT: So this is hopefully the final truck. Everything seems to work and its much less fragile and can go fast on relatively rough terrain. Legs to make wheel rapiers easier IF they dont want to inflate but I dont think its so much a problem with these new wheels. Any way they might come in handy for other reasons.

So what do you guys think? Good enough for final version? Just need to see if it will take off but dont think thats to much of a problem. SSTO will be back heavy but I have done that before so, will require a bit more attention during manual flight.

Delivered a similar Truck to Duna and it works fine there so fare. 45T it is with RCS to.

Also Have the latest version of the Jumbo aka "Falcon XC Jumbo Transport" with bigger cargo bay and more jet fuel suitable for over sized loads.
