Frustration with update timings

And if you feel like you want new parts, just go out and download a modpack. The new B9 aerospace looks great, I'm loving the cargo containers and other cool parts.

I agree very strongly with this. If you feel the game lacking, try downloading some mods. If you have enough, you'll probably have an update around the corner almost every week, as different mod developers are on different schedules.

Like, MechJeb has been allowed a public release candidate of 2.0.something for a bit, that's regularly updated and it's always cool to see the new features.

Or, my favorite DragonRider Capsule just got updated like, yesterday, after a LONG time with no updates.

Kosmos SSPP receives small updates periodically with new parts that are absolutely cool.

I just got B9 and it feels like a whole new flavor of the game. (They go very well as spaceplane components to the KW Rocketry pack, IMO)

Seriously, getting some mods will take the edge off of that anxiety of waiting for the game to be finished. I'm still obsessed with building big stations using all these wonderful new parts I have to explore.

I have to admit that I am getting antsy about the new release too. This monday, if there is no devstream, it will have been a month since the last legitimate devstream (IIRC). This, compounded with the forum crash, and the fact that 0.19 was a lame duck update that didn't really change much, and you have quite the dilemma there. WIth that being said, I love Squad and their game to pieces, and I appreciate the devblogs that have been going up. Just really want that update :/

We are not badgering devs for release dates, or hurrying them up. We just want "Yeah, we are still working on this and that. Progress is being made. Here, have some sweet, sweet pics. Talk about them now." Thats all :) Hmmm, unless release date IS coming - and devs are working hard hunting last bug and ironing things out. In that case silence is good, and they should ignore our pesky buzzing. We are soon going to be extatic anyway

I agree completely. It would be nice to not have to stress over updates and when they come out.

so, don't stress about it. Enjoy what you have, and don't go about life worrying about something that may or may not happen...

Take things as they come, see every update as a pleasant surprise.

I was starting to get bored myself. Then I downloaded the remotetech mod. Holy crap, talk about a complete change in style of play. Enjoying the hell out of setting up a good LKO satellite network, and eventually an interplanetary one.

As for waiting for updates? I'm OK with their current style, Because I don't want to wake up on X of Y and find out an updates been delayed until Z. Waking up with a "holy crap, .20 is out, I hope I miss the server crash" is a great, great surprise.
