I completely agree with a boycott on Curse, if creators could just use their dropbox for now it would be greatly appreciated... I have just had way to many issues with curse in my Wow days.

Dren

BTW: Please continue to offer these models. As I understand wanting to recreate greater and better things, leaving these models for those of us that really enjoy them would be great. Problem is I don't have a current build, so I "DONT" have them.;.;

I still have it, and it is a useful mod. the 40Kn rockets have some advantage on smaller craft ( if you have space for 2 nukes but don't want the mass of 2 Lvns then it works out well.) the 12 Kn variant is great on small probes and Space plane.

Hope it comes back

Any chance someone could upload their version of the mod to the likes of OneDrive or whichever other uploading service?

Bought KSP just for the NASA warp craft thing that evidently requires this mod.... derp >.<

Sorry but Kommitz's license forbids it.

Ah you could have just messaged me, I'm not too concerned about these things.

That aside I'll put up a temporary download on mediafire in a bit (a day or two or three) and probably tweak the particle effects while I'm at it.

Give Kerbal Stuff a go Kommitz. your FTmN engines are awesome and should be used by everybody!

I'll get round to uploading things to mod sites when I update them properly, just keeping them on mediafire as a backup for now.

EDIT: Parts are uploaded.

Just a little note: there seems to be a conflict between FTmN engines and Near Future Propulsion. I'm using a version I got before spaceport died, but I expect the conflict will still exist unless it is actively dealt with.

When I have both installed, FTmN engines use Liquid Hydrogen as their fuel resource. I'm no modder, so I'm not sure why. I'm really excited for the future release of FTmN, and I really want to be able to use it with Near Future. Of course, technically I can, but having to wait until I reach liquid hydrogen in the tech tree is irritating :P

There is absolutely no conflict between these two mods. You installed Extras from near future, there is hydrogenNTRsKommitzNucleonics.cfg, just delete it and all will be back to normal.(by the way,you should notice that all nuclear engines use liquid hydrogen including stock)Or you can delite whole Hydrogen NTRs folder.

Any word on the next iteration of this mod. This is a must-have for me.

I'm currently remodeling all of the engines (and making an entirely new one!) so it will be a while.

I might get round to updating the costs of the current parts, just need to take the time to figure out how career mode is balanced first.

Excited to see the new engine :D Keep up the good work!

These engines are amazing; they blow the stock engines out of the water in terms of design IMO. I'm looking forward to seeing your updates. I hope the new engine you're working on is 3.75m - not to slow things down even more, but a 5m engine would be pretty awesome too now that KW has added 5m parts.

I see what you're going for with the engine stats, keeping all of the ISPs inline with the stock nuke, but it would be nice to have them rebalanced to favour the bigger engines a bit, just like the chemical rockets.

Thanks for the hard work, on this and the trusses.

On 0.24, in case anyone is wondering, I did all the prices on the (old) parts before career mode was introduced and they seem to be mostly in line with the stock pricing of parts so I'm unlikely to balance them any time soon.

But more importantly I got off my lazy arse today and did a little bit of work on a new engine.

For the new parts I'm planning on reshuffling the balance of the current parts rather than making any more, enormous engines. The one brand new engine will be a replacement for the (now buffed) FTmN 40, and here's a work-in-progress of that brand new engine; I've decided to go full-on retro-future with the hexagonal engine bells because they look really cool (5m parts courtesy of KW rocketry):

Expect the rest of the re-designed engines to show up Soonâ„¢.

I'll also look to releasing those LV-N clusters I made months ago, almost finished texturing but never actually released.
