The easy way to deorbit (not recomended)

I was screwing around with space cannons (making kerbals jump into activated rockets in orbit) and when I fired Jeb he slamed into one of my fuel shuttles going through it and eventualy hiting my space station that was right behind it and ended up smashing the entire thing apart wich slowed him down enough to deorbit. This is clearly the cheapest way of getting kerbals home. Rescue pods are expensive but definately not stations!

I am currently working on making a cannon to fire kerbals straight up from the launchpad, my best speed so far is about 500 M/S. I might use angled R-10s to get even more but if I get it high enough I plan to time it with one that is in orbit that will then fire that kerbal forward putting them into orbit..... only in KSP lol
