Hide debris and to your situation irrelevant trajectories from orbit map

Hi!

Is there a way to hide debris and to your situation irrelevant trajectories from orbit map? When I say to my situation irrelevant I am talking about such trajectories that I wouldn't need for an attempt to dock with another object. It just makes things so chaotic and a real chore when trying to do certain operations.

And what just popped into my head what about being able to shift around your camera in orbital view rather then rotate around the center of the focused object?

There's changes in 0.20 to do just that. Hide and show what you want.

In the mean time, best you can do is clear the debris by changing the Max Persistent Debris setting to zero, the restarting your game world. You can leave that setting on zero if you don't want to clear debris later.

If you don't want debris, you can set it to 0. Personally, I like being able to see my debris so I can get rid of it.

As for hiding irrelevant trajectories, the computer can't read your mind, so it doesn't know what you consider to be irrelevant. I might want to see a trajectory that you don't, and vice versa. Filtering of types of objects is coming, which may address your issue.

I fully support better camera control. So many times I've been left guessing what my encounter is like because I can't zoom in on it, and it's then hard to adjust.
