Rover problem

Recommended Posts

So I have started working a rover, trying to hit the design of the Mars rover Curiosity, although I think I hit a problem and I am not too sure how to solve it. Curiosity was sort of "packed" into a capsule as far as I remember, but how would I go and do this in KSP? I am rather new to the game and especially rovers, so please excuse if this is an obviously dull question :)

Kind regards,

thoose

First off welcome to the forums :) Secondly could we see a picture of your rover to help us give you advice? There are a couple of options for you... You could download a payload fairing mod (KW Rocketry is probably the best IMO) and pack it into that, or you could try making one yourself with the grey structural pieces.

I want to try it first without mods. I'll upload some pictures as soon as I can get the rover working. On my first test mission on Kerbin something went wrong and the whole Rover sort of collapsed into itself, must have been a structure failure somewhere. But thanks for the ideas, I see what I can do :3
