If KSP had a underewater, i would make something like this beauty =D

The whole concept of underwater->Flight-->underwater again , is very inspiring..

please not that this is just a concept.

The Japanese had a sub that deployed 3 aircraft, but man, a sub jet is wierd. but then again Someone (cant remember who) did think about trying to make flying tanks as well.

I had an idea like this once, it was basicly a helicopter that was waterproof which landed in the water and used its rotor blades to move around underwater, pretty epic if you ask me.

I don't know if Walter Christie counts as 'they', but yeah. An interesting idea on paper, but that's all the farther it should have went.

Unless of course you count the Wathog as a flying tank, but that's not exactly what Christie had in mind.

That was the first thing I though of watching that video :)

Also that Úþрðñûь-üðúõт is very cool.. too bad they crashed it in the end..

Ah nothing like WIG craft. The US coast guard and the UN thought they were going to be the next big thing, so every mariner has to learn all about them and how to not hit them. Thank goodness they didn't think about submarine planes, though they do seem extremely Kerbal, especially with boosters added!.
