  1. It is more likely that the Field has been reset at some point >> My Birth date seems to have been erroneously set to 2014.
  2. Yagnit Launched a 260 ton vessel that was 90% Fairings. They most certainly do have mass. It is oddly all in the base and does not get ejected with the fairings themselves.
  3. It was Confimed by RoverDude that this is a bug, he has fixed it for next release, but we do not have an ETA on when that will be.
  4. RoverDude just confirmed in DasValdez's Stream that massless Heat Shields is a bug, and has been fixed for next release.
  5. There appears to be a new problem in 0.90. In the Asteroid Redirect 1 scenario the Fuel lines are broken, making it difficult if not impossible to beat if you don't know how to transfer fuel between tanks (which is not covered in any tutorial up to that point). This appears to be platform agnostic. Youtube was on windows (probably steam). I am on mac OS X (Steam). I noticed this watching videos of a new player attempting to get through the tutorials on youtube. and checked my own fresh install to make sure it was not just a fluke. Screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/Bl5aG3a.jpg Its fairly easy to test if other want to duplicate this and make sure it is not an isolated incident, its very simple to reproduce, Load up the asteroid redirect 1 scenario and begin thrusting, note if fuel is being drained from both tanks as intended or only from the smaller tank. Edit: This appears to be a player with the same issue on reddit. http://www.reddit.com/r/KerbalSpaceProgram/comments/2plz9r/help_tutorial_asteroid_redirect_mission_part_1/
  6. I Have both, One is modded heavily, one is not.
  7. Ions are fairly well balanced as it is.
  8. Bugs and issues need to go on GitHub https://github.com/KospY/KAS/issues?state=open in order for them to be seen and fixed.
  9. I believe Curiosity was rated to land at 4 m/s so its really not that unusual for a bit of a bump.
  10. I think that the Take away from all of this is that the community needs to work on resources. Squad is not, so its up to us to make the game that we want to see. thankfully they have given us the tools to do that.
  11. Both! Each is Awesome. and 2x Awesome is better than either one. This need not be an either or decision, and we should not look at it as such.
  12. I just wish they had let us know sooner. It should give a boost to resource modding, They don't have to worry about being made irrelevant in the next update. I hope Majir Continues to do great things with Kethane and KAS.
  13. Resources are postponed, and will be simplified. this was done to make sure that they were FUN, and not a chore. We will likely get something, but its not the chart.
  14. They have been Postponed. Unfortunately This got lost in the DLC Incident. They were said to be in .19, and several of the systems were in various stages of work/completeness. I hesitate to bring up the DLC Stream again, but in it it was said that no announced Planned feature would be used as DLC or Expansions. As Resources were announced and in development prior, it is unlikely that they will become DLC. They have been postponed as the underlying systems that are needed to make them fit into the game are not yet implemented. there is no scanning or mapping, which is required for resources. Also we Just got biomes which is another precursor to having location based resource distribution. I see them comming down the pipeline at some point, but not till the game is ready for them, even if the players are ready for them now.
  15. Do a surface sample at the launch pad for the answer.
  16. The most efficient follow the orbit of the body, to maximize the Oberth effect for takeoff/departure.
  17. they use KIOS the Kerbal Integrated Operating System. Version 16.2 Now with MOAR BOOSTERS.
  18. Congrats! it took me months before i finally got to orbit. Tutorials help.
