Helicopter or Blimp Craft Request

Recommended Posts

I have been playing around with both Snjo's Firespitter Parts and Hooligan Labs' Airship addons recently and I have been struggling to make successful craft. I was wondering if anyone had any crafts that they have made sitting about such as larger helicopters or "Blimp" type airships? Please share any if you have since I am completely useless when it comes to making helicopters and Blimps.

If you also have NovaPunch (for the wings), you can take my Aeos Z-3 out for a spin.

(All but the last couple of pics are from the Z-2 test article, so there are some minor differences.)

Top sustained speed is about 92m/sec. Buoyancy ceiling is 9200m, but at maximum speed the stub wings generate enough lift to reach 11000m.

NOTE: You must manually reverse the rear-facing props via right-click menus before take-off. I used the forward-facing props all around because they can be toggled into reverse for braking or backing the craft up.

Action Group 1 toggles all the engines on/off.

Action Group 2 toggles all the props into reverse and back to normal.

You may want to right click the tail-rotor to increase it's power, to improve your turning rate. Activating the Avionics Package (SAS mode) during all but the most extreme maneuvers is recommended.
