Best Life Support Addon

I've seen a few different Life Support addons and I'm starting a new campaign style save, so it's time to pick one.

Which one do you all suggest?

And feel free to pimp your own

Ioncross is my favorite. Works well and has Kerbal death. Also it's easy to mod into custom parts.

I use ioncross as well. It is the only one I have found that adds the O2 / CO2 life support + scrubbers and recyclers without going over the top into crazy micromanagement.

My thoughts exactly. I don't really need water, food and waste on top of O2 and CO2. On the Ioncross thread the devoloper has expressed as much also.

As for food and other resources, right now the mod only supports oxygen and carbon dioxide. I chose to model them because everything else is just more consumables and waste and oxygen and carbon dioxide can represent the whole process fairly well while keeping management simpler.

I think Ioncross's mod is the only truly functional mod right now.

The rest I believe are buggy in the current KSP version or don't allow death or change the amount of consumption based on the number of Kerbals.

I do wish he had two versions though with one being more elaborate.

In that same post yongedevil elaborates that the structure of the mod would support additional resources such as food, water etc. So I believe you could make it as complex as you like and still be able to take advantage of the core functionality.
