transfer fuel?

I got a ship out to the mun, but not enough fuel left to land safely, let alone get back to kerbin. However, I do have a station above the mun with plenty of fuel. Im currently docked at the station. how do I transfer fuel to my ship?

you need to dock, with the ships docked right click on a fuel tank. then press Alt and right click another fuel tank, you should then be able to transfer between them.

thanks. that helped a Ton! another question I have. Im having problems docking with the 4way docking nodes. problems as in, nothing will dock to them. I try to put a docking port on while building it, but the port wont snap to the sides. what am I missing/doing wrong?

Have you got the docking ports the right way round? use WQEASD to rotate the docking port to the correct way round.

I find that sometimes if i remove a port then try to put it back on it doesnt 'snap' but if you rotate the camera to face on you can still place the port centrally and it will work ok.

You need to turn the docking port in the right position, then it will snap.
