What should I do to celebrate

Now that I spent 45 min gently steering my 3,000Mg Launcher (Weighs 2,700Mg, launches 300Mg) into an (almost complete) test orbit? One... Frame... a... second

Okay, technically just the first two major stages... but that accounts for 85% of the total mass... and it was weighted with fake fueltanks (60Mg each) to simulate the rest

I kept wondering at every stall if this was going to be it... but it kept going getting to the necessary 60km apoapsis at 1800m/s orbit. (Based on smaller scale runs)

*Of course, next time... I'm totally just going to let Mechjeb fly the thing. No way I'm sitting here staring at the navball like that again.

One frame a second? All the way to orbit? That is dedication, right there.

I'd say this calls for nothing less than a full-on party.

Well, almost orbit... it WAS a test launch of the first / second stages... but it went so well that (If I bothered to add it in right [above picture is an example of how NOT to add it in... though quite frankly. I was just wanting the photo of the launch with something more than a flat top.]) I could probably get the final stage in. (Heck, really the Delta V needed is so low that I could write it off as a "navigation expense". I just need to distribute the weight properly)

Although... right now... I think I'm just going to go to sleep. I finally figured out a way to get 3000Mg's to "not explode" so I am happy. (Been working mostly solo on it, for the sheer joy of figuring it out).

And... It feels good :DD
