Old KW Ceres pod

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have the old KW Ceres pod? If it and the parts associated with it are incompatible with .19 how would one go about updating it? Is that even allowed by whatever license is associated with KW?

I saw some old pictures of it, and that is a seriously cool looking pod.

Note I have practically no experience with modeling (made one ginger bread man in blender in 2008) and I can't code to save my life it it depended on it.

Here you go. I wish someone would update it and make it .19 compatible because it's a seriously cool looking craft. Off the top of my head, it'll need re-scaling work and the command pod doesn't allow for EVA. As far as I'm aware this has been abandoned and I can't imagine anyone having an issue with bringing this awesome craft up to date.

i almost did it, but i have no idea how to make it work with eva or iva

Yeah. the EVA is the hard part for me, the re-scaling is just a matter of math, and although tedious, quite doable. As far as IVA is concerned, I don't think one was created, at least in the version I have. It is possible to use existing IVA files like the one from the Mk1-2Pod for example. It's just a simple line of code in the cfg file.
