Hi guys 'n gals!

My name is Emily, and I'm new around here. I've been playing KSP for a little while now, though! Since it became available on Steam, I think. A friend of mine posted on Facebook that it was available on Steam, and being a space nerd, I was naturally intrigued. I took a chance on it, and immediately lost the next 5 hours to playing the tutorials, watching youtube videos, building rockets and trying to get a feel for the game. Yeah, I got hooked quickly.

Anyway, yeah, I'm having an absolute blast with it. If I can just figure out how to get my new joystick to work with it, I'd be in heaven.

I used to love reading everything I could about space, both science fiction and science fact. KSP had me hooked almost as soon as I first read the description for it. This is the sort of game I've been wanting to play for decades.

If you need help on anything at any point, there's a wonderful "How-To" section with tons of helpful people. I tend to camp out there myself, looking for new and interesting things to put in the Drawing Board, which I'd highly recommend you check out at the link in my sig; it's got tons of tutorials, advice, and other tricks for players new and old.
