The Dragon capsule, by itself, slows down my system A LOT and causes the graphics and audio to stutter, even in VAB. The other parts seem to be okay, because when I remove the Dragon capsule from the rockets, there is no reduction in performance. Do we really need windows that we can see into the Dragon capsule from the outside, especially since we can't see the Kerbals in their seats anyway? I'm using the non-HD version.EDIT:I think I found the culprit. I removed the "Kerbal Engineer Redux" and "Engineer Redux: All Pods" mods from my system and the lag went away. However, even the low-res pack has some very big textures - I think the engine cluster has a 2048*2048 file, which takes up huge amounts of space. Would an "even lower res" pack be possible? A patch for that should be faster to put out. I wish Squad would fix the spaceport before doing the .23 update, but I doubt that will happen.Nice timing, 0.23 is about to come out. It has its own decoupler, so you simply treat it like a stage that is executed after the Dragon 2/trunk spacecraft has decoupled and it will fly directly out of the upper stage with satellites attached.
