Planes never take off straight

For some reason, 90% of the time when i build a plane and try to take off, it pulls to the right and i end up crashing. I always build with symmetry so there shouldn't be any imbalances. Is this a glitch or something?

your vertical tail piece is probably causing your center of lift to shift slightly to one side. I've noticed this on quite a few of my aircraft as well until I stopped using parts that provide lift for them

If you have a single nose wheel, and lots of force on that wheel, very small asymmetries in that force will cause you to swerve. You can mitigate this by putting your nose wheel such that you start pitched down slightly, and thus it will tend to come off the ground quickly. This may or may not be your problem.

Nope, its because either it started to tilt, and ended up unsymmetrical because of this, or you thought that what your where building was symmetrical, but it wasn't. If the wheels are tilted, this will happen.

Yup i've noticed this as well. Also if the front wheels are higher or lower than the back ones.

Also on a side note. Is that dog in your sig named Laika by chance?

I have the same problem, but mine always pull to the left. I was told it's a flaw in the floating point calculations which causes this instability. The easiest thing you can do is put four wheels on instead of three.

Wouldn't this mean the air would push me down since the wings will be pitched down a bit?
