A .craft file really is just text. You can select that text, paste into notepad and save it as whatever. Just make sure the file name ends in .craft and you're good to go! (Oh of course it needs to be in the Ships folder as well)

Depending on your browser, you should be able to right-click on the link and select "save target as..." or something like that. You could also just cut and paste the text into a blank document using a plain text editor (something like notepad), and then save if with the extension .craft

I knew there was a step I was leaving out. I was trying to go directly from "Save" to "Profit".

To the OP, yes, they're just text files, although I wouldn't recommend trying to edit one outside of the game. The only times I've ever edited one were to swap a vessel between the SPH and the VAB. So really, just treat it as a text file that you'll never open, and just make sure it still ends in .craft.
