Okay, I've owned KSP for a year, ( I got it in May) and Today, I finally landed on the Mun. I know right, I couldn't land on the Mun even in a year. Anyways, I'm Planning to Launch a bigger craft up there, see, I've sent a 1 person craft and landed on the Mun, but can anyone help me with send 3 people to the moon.

- Thanks, Matthew.

Well because you have more than enough fuel you could either 1) land on the moon (assuming you left and returned to Kerbin) qucksave (F5) and do some random orbits with precision landing or non precision landings. 2) you could try to land on Minmus because it has a lower gravity then the Mun it will be harder to get in its SOI and land, and because it is farther away you will have to be fuel conservative (unless your rocket is OP).

Congrats on your persistence and finally landing on the Mün!

Could you be a bit more specific with what kind of help you need? Is it just those craft files or do you need more pointers? For example, do you spend a lot of fuel getting to the Mün, do your landers run out of fuel, do you crash sideways etc...

Edit: it seems you're asking specifically about sending 3 Kerbals instead of 1, so perhaps you have problems scaling up?

Yes, your right, I do have problems with scaling up.

EDIT: I fun outa fuel sometimes when i stop paying attention (thats a very dumb thing to do, cause on time, i've stop paying attention with the throttle up trying to get to the Mun's SOI and I realized i went to far, i recovered and reset, but when i was about 1000 above sea level i crashed with no fuel

Well, I've got a spacecraft for you.

I didn't build it, but I used it to get to the moon (successful-ish).

Kudos to you, Vanamonde!

Here.

Welcome to the forums! :)

Be sure to take a look at the Drawing Board, the link to which is in my signature. I've been trying to collect tons of handy resources for players both new and old, so you might find some things in that thread that might be of use to you.

Happy landings!

btw, how to you put the horizontal colon above the U

Actually that depends on what operating system you use. I use Linux and I don't even know how standard the way is I get it, namely right-Ctrl + " + u, which is actually shift, right-ctrl, ', (release), u. What might also work and should be easier is just copy/paste someone else's ü :P

Before the forum crash I had a vessel that was a bit of a challenge to fly, but fun. The Munar Experiment Package MK3.

I'm trying to retrieve the download as the vessel vanished from my KSP, but here is a video of another player sending it up (After slapping a Mechjeb onto it.)

He did a very good job flying the ship. (Though he staged the boosters early, I can squeeze around 1000m/s before I have to ditch them)

Hey Mathew,

Congrats on making it to the moon!

If you let the daredevil out of yourself, just give Minmus a try ;) You will be surprised how easy it is to go there! I struggled also for several hours and days to land on the mun, but Minmus was even first try :)

Also remember that 3 x 1-man capsule is also = 3 Kerbals on the mun ;)
