Birdy The Mighty

So, a week ago I was watching a documentary on SETI. After finishing, I go watch a film of an Alien Invasion.

Some three hours later, I find myself watching one of the oddest animes I have ever watched. To sum it up.

Birdy is a space cop. She chases a criminal. She kills Senkawa by accident. She puts Senkawa into her body. Senkawa loves rich girl named Nakasuki. Rich girl is possessed by a WOMD. Space Terriosts want WOMD to wreck earth. Hence, it begins....

Season Two was fun, even though the quality of the drawings get a little.....scary, for three-second intervals, then snap back into action. Violence also ramps up here, because Birdys childhood friend hunts down the aliens who brought the WOMD to earth, and kill them in an unnessasaryily...reddish fashion.

So, anyone else watch it?

Never heard of it but the ANN reviews aren't bad at all. If I can get my hands on a few episodes I'll definitely watch.

So, any idea on when they going to make 3rd season? Or is it dead, like "Constellation" (I loved both of these. )
