Release Three

It's time to release the Dr. Lirius Rover.

Features:

Dr. Lirius Rover: A re-engineered copy of the very strange vehicle that visited us from another dimension. Invented by the wild-eyed Dr. Lirius. This rover body comes with lighting pre-installed and is compatible with a wide range of parts. It has a small mount on the back ideal for 0.625m parts.

Mr. Kethane: Allows the Dr. Lirius Rover to interface with Kethane gas. You will be able to convert Kethane into a unique nuclear fuel for use with the rover. If you don't use Kethane parts, Mr. Kethane also generates electricity.

Lirius Thruster Assembly: Rear-mounted engine for powering the rover through space (but not time.)

Lirius Capacitor: Stores a large amount of electrical charge and reaction byproduct. (It's heavy)

Lirius Goodwheel: Special wheel fitted for use with the rover. This wheel is extra roll resistant!

Logo placement device: Allows you to place the front logo anywhere you want. You can also replace the artwork and use your own logo, or use it as an overlay on the rear license plate mount. This part is KAS-compatible if you want to grab and attach it(may be a little bugged)

Rear Flag Plate: This part will let you place the space program flag of your choice on the rover. This part is also KAS-compatible if you want to grab and attach it(may be a little bugged)

Lirius Console Computer: Allows remote control of the rover. It is a surface-attachable probe computer.

i hate to be a pain but this may belong in the development thread for now until it has something released, correct me if im wrong though. on a brighter note from the picture i am getting a good vibe this might be an awesome plane mod so good luck ive enjoyed your other mods and if this one has the same standard good things await

Seems a little more modern than a P-51. And I'm pretty sure the intake on a P-51 is further aft, though that may only have been on certain models.

I don't doesn't look very F-16ish, the nose-section ahead of the cockpit get's wider in the image, and just seems to stop (as if there is a intake (mig-15, F-84...), or a location for a propeller), rather than taper to a point like an F-16's nose.

Yea first Thing I thought was Either Mig or F16 S or other F variants of jets. I don't know where people got P-51 from.

your looking at it backward if you look at the airintake on the bottom it faces the wrong way. ATTENTION TO DETAIL PEOPLE.

I concur with the assesment of F-16. The D-shaped intake slung below and just aft of the cockpit, the bubble canopy, and the pointed nose are all hallmarks that point to the Viper being the inspiration fort this cockpit. (Yes, I know that the official title is "Fighting Falcon", but the pilots call it the Viper. No idea why.)

Lol I think you guys are seeing the heavy post processing on the image and thinking they are parts. There's a big band of static near the bottom and on the sides. Other than that all I see is a F-16'ish cockpit with something behind it and to its starboard. Hint: We'd be able to solve this if we could play with the part. End Hint

Interesting. Some of you seem a little uptight. So let's go over what this forum is here for. This forum is for free content for ksp. Content that doesn't need to be marketed. Have you been working on any content that is worth the time or effort to take a look at? Now - as far as this thread being in the right forum: this thread will be a thread with multiple releases. I am saving forum space (it seems to be sparse around here?) by not starting another one in the other forum when I have an early version arriving soon. The goal of the release will be the same as that of the thread: fun.
