459) we fly to the mun as the frist mission of the history

460) we use (maybe) ponies as mascots

461) we use parts that were found on the side of the road

462) we hire hightly stupid pilot

463) we are controled by an alien being

464) (Jeb was supposed to do this one)

465) we are the only facility still operating on kerbin

466) we have a place-holder command center

467) all these button are painted on the cokpit

468) we do long post on a meanless forum

(did I break a record?)

Also :

411. Apart from KSC, our temperate planet with ample oceans and expansive green fields is devoid of animal and plant life, cities, roads and infrastructure.

There's tree, an overload of tree! (and grass, which is plant lifeform)

If big space agencies like NASA planned missions the way we do, built rockets the way we do and/or did anything the way we do in this game, countless things would go wrong (unless they hired Scott Manley)

Lets start a list of 101 (+?) reasons why we are not NASA:

I'll start :D

1 - We build manned ICBM's

2 - We strand kerbals on other planets

3 - We crash kerbals into the sun

4 - We try to land on gas giants

Please continue... (I'd like to see some funny ones)

Ummmmm... sorry to say this....

The early manned rockets that NASA used *were* actually ICBM's... :)

I mean, sorry, but just sayin... y'know. :)

477 Unlike real life, our Astro-nuts keep coming back to life...

488 When an astronaut dies, we are sad, when a Kerbal dies, we dance for joy and laugh our heads off....

489: We turn out rockets like sausages. That is to say, instantly.

490: Every rocket has a built-in time machine.

491: Flying by autopilot is frowned upon.

492: A 50% failure rate is perfectly acceptable.

493: If your rocket crashes on the pad, it's very likely your astronauts are okay.

494: We don't have to add life support.

496) A Kerb's death is OK as long as they went out spectacularly.

497) Science is measured in units of science.

498) At least, science involving mystery dumpster goo and glowing squid.

499) Kerbs laugh in the face of certain death, die, and then come back to life to repeat the process.

*and finally*

500) We're dedicated enough to point out five hundred differences between us and real life

408. When NASA's rockets explode, they abandon the design. When our rockets explode, we add MOAR BOOSTERZ!

No, look at the space shuttle? 2/5 exploded... They not only used them after the first, but also the second 100% fatal catastrophic failure.

510 - the above ships are manned with no return capability after detonation.

511 - we leave our kerbals outside the capsules on physics warp to see if they get hit by something.
