Never seen that before, what on earth is it?

It is commonly known as the Caspian Sea Monster, look it up.

It is a ground effect vehicle and thus is a bastardization of a plane. THe Soviets designed it to quickly carry short range cruse missiles to attack targets in Europe.

They came up with some interesting inventions to defeat the bomber streams. There was the Me 162 Koment or the Bachem Ba 349 Natterm rocket powered interceptors:

They also had unguided rockets and bombs to use against the bomber streams.

My personal favourite aircraft of WWII:

Ahh, I can't quite remember the name of that. Wonder why they chose the pusher design for it rather than the conventional puller. The 4 30mm cannons in it pack a very heavy punch. a single shot could take down a plane. I've flown that aircraft in a few games, always very agile.

Edit: Top Gear, yay!!!

But the real British space program should invest in this:

BWAHAHAHAHAHA.... Richard and James are NOT astronaut material...

[EDIT]: The J7W1 was designed to defend Japan from B-29 attacks, and it would have done that job VERY well since only two problems ever popped up with it's design: The prop was damaged on landing during it's first trial (fixed by adding the small wheels on the vertical stabilizers) and it's first flight was DAYS before Japan surrendered.

Otherwise it would have been the scariest thing to ever fly

The first Russian and American jet programs were all knockoffs of the British one at the start. Though the Russians started with semi-jets, fitting liquid propellant rockets to their test planes, the I-250.

Spaceplanes are such great idea. Sadly, only the United States and the Russians are the only people that actually made ones that worked. At least NASA is working on two new spaceplanes, the X-37 (which the military is actually using) and the Dream Chaser.

If I ever get any power with the British people, government or space program, I will make them fund and build the Skylon in Britain. It would make jobs building them, what's not to like? :D

Neither of the space planes you mentioned are being developed by NASA.

The X-37 is being designed by Boeing and the USAF, and the Dream Chaser by the Sierra Nevada corporation.

Spaceplanes are indeed a great idea, but the cost benefit of using one is dubious. While a generic Buran-style plane could carry more people and cargo at a time, a versatile vehicle such as the Soyuz is more economic for most generic payloads, as it is smaller, it requires less fuel to get into orbit, and is therefore more economic with small, frequent launches, compared to a Buran-style plane, which would require a lot of cargo and passengers for every trip to become economic.

What we really need is suborbital airliners and SSTO planes for our space stations.

Or high-speed vacuum tube trans-continental trains

Then why don't we disable your internet access so you have no distractions?

because then I will hurt you. I NEED my Minecraft, darn it!

Also, the internet is 98% of my communication with Chobit. Very bad thing to cut off. For many reasons.

Perhaps limit you to communication with Chobit and let you play Minecraft when you reach a daily target for work you have set youself?
