Skydiving+cats

Speaks for itself.

Wait, is this seriously some kind of experiment to confirm that cats will always land on their feet?

I hope they at least have a remote control to deploy the parachutes, or a human diving with them to catch them midair if the equipment messes up.

Unless you drop them from a really short high they will land on their feet.

If you drop them from very high up, like a skyscraper, then they can survive with some broken bones but not at a middle ground. They think its because the cats can brace themselves better when they fall for longer.

Yeah but from that height it'd probably be fatal in the event a chute fails to open unless a human diver catches the cat midair and holds it while deploying their own chute to land safely.
