I really like the bobcat parts, and I'd be interested to see what kinds of bases/space stations people are making out of them.

Here is my Mun base. It uses the HOME parts, the ANT rover and the Wayland ring structure. Please post yours too.

Thankyou! It turned out to be really easy to land, which was a surprise because it's really quite big and heavy. Bit of a struggle getting the main ring into orbit, but otherwise quite an easy mission.

3 launches (the base is in two parts, then one more launch to refuel), then straight to the Mun. She has plenty of fuel and thrust to get back to LKO too if need be.

The design would also work for orbital stations, if you undock the legs

Here are the two launch vehicles for the station parts (i didn't get any screens during docking). You can see the delta-v stats in the screens. The main ring needed a steep profile to give the nervas enough time to circularise. The second part just needed lots of boosters.

I love the Bobcat stuff use it all the time just waiting for there stuff to get upgraded to version 2 especially the Jool V Rocket and the Home stuff

Oh, seeing those old (Nova)Punch SRBs in your pic, with the red 'KSP' on the side, gave me a big hit of nostalgia. I used to have those on my very first Mun rockets...

They're handy things. If i need to get a bit higher I just strap another four of them on somewhere.
