If you're using an ATI product, disable the Catalyst AI. I didn't get a huge framerate boost, but camera movement was much, much, much smoother. As in, the stuttering and jerking when panning/zooming/rotating went away completely. I'm sure this isn't the only culprit, but might help a few people.

My performance is definitely worse for 0.2, especially at launch due to the ocean, but also when loading anything, even in space, takes a lot longer than before. I'm running 64bit Win 7 on an AMD Phenom II X6 1055T and an HD5870. It was like that even starting totally fresh. Other than that I'm loving 0.2 :)
