how to impport mods to 0.20

hi guys.

i know it must be said somewhere on the forum but i'm pretty lost at the moment.

i can't understand how to import my saves and mods from my 0.19 game to the new 0.20.

i've tried the way i used to do it by copy the parts,internals, plugin data, plugins, resources, saves, ships and source folders to the 0.20 version main folder but the loading is sooo long and my memory use is way higher than it used to be on 0.19.

i even get stuck on one part wich turns the loading screen black and freezing it.

so plz guys, i've readed a lot of topics but my english and technical language is pretty limited so i'm really lost right now.

could some of you explain me how they managed to do it in a simple and easy understandble way?

Make a new folder in game data, paste your mods, add Part prefix to cfg files. Worked for me, alot of people was wondering how yesterday just look trough the forum =) cheer

so i make a new folder (named "mods" for exemple) and i add "Part" prefix to EVERY single one cfg of every single modded part?

You don't need to do that.

Just put your old mods in the Parts, Plugins, and Internals folders where they used to be. The new method is only for new mods.

That didn't work for me with Mechjeb 2

MechJeb2 has been updated, so it's not an old mod any more.
