A Main Weather Satellite has Failed

It looks like the 0.20 update managed to break things orbiting in the real world as well.

GOES-13 has apparently lost it's imaging equipment. This covers the North American east coast and the tropical Atlantic; the places you might want to keep an eye on as we enter hurricane season.

They are bringing GOES-14 on-line and getting it into position but if it goes bad then there isn't another backup.

Which can take anywhere from 5 years to forever, and hundreds of millions of dollars. Shame about the bird.

So, in 2013 we got a Solar Storm, GOES-13 is down, and Apollo 13 was annoyed. Space hates 13.

I don't even care about weather forecasts, so I'm indifferent.
