now...

enough said.

KSP. 0.20 did the following things to me that 0.19 never did:

Crashed my computer, 10 times.

Game faded and there were blue streaks everywhere.

Menu completely unusable.

Constant crashing to desktop.

(I have a gaming computer so don't use "bad computer" as an excuse)

Mods, yes. but trusted mods.

Nothing to do with trust, mods just fail in an update sometimes regardless. Try uninstalling your mods and do a fresh install. Make sure to backup your saved files.

Mods, yes. but trusted mods.

It doesnt matter if they are trusted mods or not. Its an updated version of the game with lots of behind the scenes stuff happening differently. Run it a fresh install of .20 without ANY mods running. You will have to figure out what mods are compatabile with 0.20 and update them accordingly.

So you're complaining that the game doesn't work properly but you're playing in a heavily modified environment?

Seems legit.

This response seems just a little bit hostile...

Nothing hostile about it. I just think it's a bit ridiculous when people call something broken when they're using a modified version of it.

I'm not gonna go to the Nissan dealer and tell them their truck is a piece of crap because a third-party part blew up my exhaust manifold or melted my clutch.

It's not hostile, so much as pointed.

Any person coming to these forums, who has had a passing interest in KSP, might be put off by seeing such threads, when in actual fact that are many satified users.

Flightmaster IS running a modified environment. All bets are off.

If Flightmaster

a) Completely, cleanly, uninstalls the game (by actually deleting any remnants of any part of the game after uninstalling)

B) Installs a fresh copy of the latest version

c) Ensures his machines drivers are up to date

d) does NOT install any modifications WHATSOEVER

...and continues to exhibit problems, then by all means we can talk.

Until then, he is the hostile one, making claims for which he has no proof. All he has proof of his that his copy of the game isn't working, not that there is something inherently wrong with .20.

That's a much different ordeal entirely, but I would rather not explain why because it will only stimulate more hostile actions and no one want's that.

Please, point me to these "hostile actions" that you're talking about. I'm just making a point. I wasn't aware making counterpoints in a conversation was considered hostile.

A user is claiming that their product is broken, though is using third-party products that compromise its performance. See? Same thing.

Hostile? The OP is hostile. People seem to forget that this game isn't even alpha. Its still in very early production. The fact that we're playing at a 0.20 level is awesome, and everyone in the community can still throw input at the developers to shape the game in a way they themselves hadn't thought of. Yeah, we paid a whole $30 for the game, but so what? EXPECT PROBLEMS. Demands like "Fix it now" are as useful as a dull plastic drill bit. You can keep on drilling, but you're not gonna get anywhere.

This is not constructive criticism, this is complaining. If you have a problem, please help us find the bugs. Please visit the support forum and read the sticky on what information we need you to provide and post. We need you to help us help you if you want a resolution to your problem.
