Solar Eclipses

Eclipser

Recommended Posts

So I've been playing for a while now. I love this game, and I've decided to join the forums.

After finals I decided to make a clean slate, landing on the Mun was my first task. I arrived just in time for this beautiful view. Not to uncommon due to the orbits of everything I know, but a nice surprise nonetheless.

Welcome to the forums! :) And that's certainly quite an impressive view indeed. Never gets old.

I'd like to invite you to take a look at the Drawing Board (link in my sig), which has a number of links to useful reference materials. Many of them are oriented more towards novice players, but there's still quite a treasure trove of information even for more experienced ones. Don't be afraid to ask questions on the How To forums if you ever find yourself in a sticky situation, either.

Happy landings!

Cool! Never seen an eclipse from the Mün before! Did Kerbin pass in front of the sun making it completely dark?

Eclipses don't seem to really affect the lighting of places, but Kerbin did blot out Kerbol. To bad I arrived during the eclipse, otherwise I could have measured the length of the eclipse.

EDIT: And thanks for the warm welcomes!
