Change Flag mid-flight?

Is there a way to edit the persistence file in order to change the flag of a specific mission?

Yes, open the persistent.sfs (or quicksave.sfs) and right at the top there's this bit:

{
	version = 0.20.0
	Title = default (Sandbox)
	Description = No description available.
	Mode = 0
	Status = 1
	scene = 5
	flag = Squad/Flags/default

That's for the whole program, I think he was asking about a mission flag.

You open your quicksave.sfs, and scroll down to you find the command pod for the mission. There you change the flag, and reload

Is it necessary to change the persistence file to change the flag? I ask because I've had Jeb on a Gilly mission since 0.19...

How do I open a .sfs file? Dont have any program to do it, dont have any external programs for this.

Google is your friend, notepad++ I hope this work

Its a text file. Just use notepad or equiv.
