Military Inspirations! [Planes]

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I have started making a few planes that resembled planes that are in service with the US and/or British Military.

All planes I create will have advanced SAS, this is because I cannot fly a plane to save my life, so I use it to level out after banking a turn... which means that with some planes that may be the only reason it is on there :P

As for the designs of the planes I try to keep them as representative to the real life as possible... but due to KSP not liking certain designs it means that some things may not look realistic. These things include: Wheel placements, Engine Placements, Addition of Winglets, etc.

When designing the propulsion systems I make it so that if the plane is supposed to have a jet engine, it will have the turbojet engine. If it should have a propeller then it will have the basic jet engine (This is just because I hate the basic jet engine)

Some screenshots can be found here: http://thejordsta95.imgur.com/all/

So far the planes I have got "finished":

Vulcan (With added VTOL system)

B-2 Spirit (Looks dodgy, cannot take ASAS off after take off... must take off with ASAS on... it's only there because I wouldn't give up)

C-26 Metroliner

Cessna UC-35

CT-36 Sabreliner

E-2 Hawkeye

SR-71 Blackbird

If you have suggestions on what I should do next, feel free to give me suggestions :)

Thanks for reading :)

I do like the Blackbird, and have tried to recreate it many times, but I do think that it is a harder one to get a good flight time out of, because (unless my flying is really inefficient) fuel runs out too quick with toridial engines ;)

But I will give it a go :)

And then probably release the first "pack" once I have that one finished :)
