Why can't I launch lander as unnamed?!

Sorry about the exclamation mark but I'm angry.

I build this rocket based on unnamed probe to launch lander as unmaned target for my Kerbollo space craft, is essential for me Kerbin orbit rendezvous Constellation like Munar mission.

can someone look at me design, and tell me why lander is maned when it supposed to be unmaned?

Calm down, no need for profanity.

I.R.L. explained it. It doesn't matter anymore whether you start with a probe body. Once you add a crewable capsule, the game will fill that capsule with Kerbals. Do as RoboRay suggests.

I hope SQUAD fix this in next update.

I'd like it best if, when adding any crew-capable module to your craft, you could select whether to add it with 0, 1, 2, 3 Kerbals, etc.

If this gets changed in a future update, I really hope they make it a general solution and allow you to modify the crew count for any capsule you add.

This is actually not a bug that needs to be fixed but actually a feature. I do suspect however that at some point we will be able to place Kerbals wherever we wish.

A. Its not really a feature. its how they coded crew creation to work in its current manifestation. It could just be a placeholder until they add a crew management feature. I wouldn't really go so far as to call it a feature.

B. Managing crew is something they have previously stated they plan to add with the career mode, as we'll be training and trying to keep kerbals alive to advance in career mode. I don't know if it will do exactly what you intend, but what they said implied you would be able to pick the crew members that went.

I believe they're going to start work on it next update. 0.21.... HarvesteR posted a picture awhile back that showed career mode falling farther and farther behind...

I think this feature will be improved when "tweakables" are added to the VAB. Then you can decide how much crew you want, how much fuel you want in the tanks, etc.

Selecting crew would be nice, as for fuel i decided how much fuel i want by selecting appropriate fuel tank, i would like feature that allow me transferring crew between two docked ship.
