Most unlucky Launch window ever?

Could not figure out why I could not hit Duna after my main burn... turns out I keep getting intercepted by the Mun... get out of my way!

Not sure how much Dv I've lost to it, but I'm now attempting a second burn, but I'll have to wait for another window (as I've missed this one by too far).

Have you had any planets or moons get in your way?

The Mun got in my way on a Duna burn as well. I tried to blow it up, but it just ignored my huge rocketbomb. I'm rebuilding something even bigger. I'll teach it to get in my way!

The Kerbals got to their destination with 2 spare tanks of fuel after all. I knew bringing extra was worth it.

One time I sent a lander out towards Minmus, but the Mun got in the way of my transfer, so I put the lander on the Mun instead. Then I took off and sent it to Minmus anyway.

That showed it who's boss.

having the Mun in the way can actually help you by saving some delta-v, but if you're planning your burn using maneuver nodes, I suggest you set the conic patch limit higher than 3 in the settings file.

Poke it with a stick!!

HOW TO POKE WITH STICK:

1. Stick some of the long truss pieces (can't remember the name at the moment) on top of a command pod

2. Crash it into the mun truss first

3. Poof, the mun is gone
