What should I do now?

We all know 0.20.1 brought a new bug and the devs are working on it.

I can't play the game now, and I'm Ok with it because I'm gonna be doing important stuff for a while.

So here are my questions:

1. What kind of mod uses .png or .jpg textures? Does this affect all part-adding mods?

2. Should I be able to run the game well if I delete the mods I have?

3. Will the fix be in a new version of the game? because I feel like it's more urgent that a new update.

I'm not in a hurry and I can always go back and install my 0.20.0 version (I keep my .zip files ).

Just wanted to ask.

3, It's possible they won't fix it at all. .20 broke mods too but it's up to the mod authors to fix them. They'll just have to use lower res textures or change formats.

Well, that takes the IT meme of "the users are the problem!" a bit far...

It's not just mods that are affected, the default flags (and any custom ones) are .png files as well. The devs have already stated that they're aware of the bug and working on it, so I'd expect a fix sooner rather than later.
