Refueling unclickable tanks.

Recommended Posts

This is my moon rover designed to survive my terrible driving skills while on the moon, I have attached jump jets in case I get stuck.

I have made a lander capable of lowering height to be able to dock into the rover so that I can refuel it.

However I am unable to transfer fuel into the 3 fuel tanks inside the 4 modular girder segments because I am unable to click on the fuel tanks because their hit-box is covered by the girder segments.

(Highlighted in red using Photoshop are the fuel tanks that I am having trouble transferring fuel into)

I checked on the KSP wiki and the only information it gives on fuel transfer is: Mod + Right Click | Open multiple info windows/Fuel transfer (should click on both fuel tanks)

so my question is, how can I transfer fuel into these tanks from the lander without clicking on them? and if it is impossible to do so then does anybody have any idea how I could make refueling my rover possible without changing the design and structure of the rover too much?

I think it's impossible from inside KSP, as you need to be able to click the tanks.

You might be able to zoom in enough and at enough of an angle so the camera clips through them and you can click them, but I suggest you exit to the space center and then edit your persistent.sfs to add fuel.

Zoom in and adjust the camera angle to where you can see and click them.

Or install the TAC Fuel Balancer mod (if it's updated, not sure). It lets you pump fuel around from a list of tanks in its UI window.
