Ship too big for VAB / SPH

Ok i'm trying to build a very large sci fi like ship in the SPH and it fits just fine while building it. However to launch it it has to be turned upright and won't fight in either the SPH or on the launch pad of the VAB. Is there any way of avoiding the boundries of either of these buildings because i reguarly see players launching larger ships than this.

Try having the ship clop through the floor of he VAB. In my experience, when you launch the craft it will automatically check the lowermost point and have it above the launchpad.

Download a mod called "EdTools" (editor tools) which increases the size of the VAB and SPH (does not add any parts)

Kolt: I've tried that but for me they just spawn half underground and explode. Very kerbal but not what i'm trying to acheive

seen this before the kraken attack...

Hold shift and click a part and then tilt 90 degrees.

Hold shift and click a part and scroll up as far as you can.

Hold shift and click a part and then tilt back again.

Repeat as needed.

P.S. i have never tried it before but that was the solution in the previus thread
