How to mount multiple engines on one fuel tank

Recommended Posts

So I have seen several designs that have, say, four nuclear engines mounted on the bottom of an orange fuel tank, similar to the picture below. I have tried to be able to do this in the VAB but cannot figure it out. Can anyone tell me the secret to this?

You can do that cause they are fuel crossfeed capable.

... but its always worth double checking all engines are getting fuel before flying off to jool. i tend to use fuel lines on all of them just to be sure.

Put the cubic struts with four times symmetry around the edge of the fuel tank. Then you can snap engines to them. If you space them out enough, you can fit a fifth engine in the middle.

Usually however, it's more efficient to put a skipper engine on a stack of tanks than a series of LV 45s or 30s.
