[Scenario] Rendezvous With Roche

Recommended Posts

I have done it! No further Kraken attacks or docking bugs on the way home, Kerbin now has a third moon in a highly-inclined 175km * 176km orbit. The metal-plate heatshield protected the asteroid from getting scorched during Kerbin aerobraking, and the Roche-1 crew is on board as well. The full mission report with video snippets can be found in the "Mission Report" forum. Stock single-launch success woohooo! Hand me that X-Prize sticker ;)

Dangerous but timely bump! I believe I may be making a v2.0 of RwR after the ARM patch comes out... if possible, it could even be a selection of bodies in Eve orbit to choose from.

I think the original version is cooler, because it's a special rock. Maybe instead you could make it a special type of asteroid instead of that and oh wait I forgot you don't do any KSP anymore so nevermind.

Agreed. If there was to be a round two, I'd like to see them put Roche back around Eve.

Mid-blaugust...

Hmm.... So how is the month relevant on the equator of a planet with no axial tilt?

So they know what time of year it is?
